Tears and Dreams...

Sometimes when I hear a song, a phrase, a word, or see a sight, or think a thought, my throat chokes up with unshedable tears, my stomach begins to flutter and my heart beats extra fast.
Will the moment that I am waiting for never arrive? Will my dreams never come true? How long, Lord, until You reveal Your Will to me? How long must I wait? It seems that the days pass like wind, and yet they drag their feet ever so slowly.
The second hand on the clocks tick repetitiously. The minute hand glide unnoticed and the hour hand creeps at it's own established pace.
"Lord, I surrender my life to You. Please give me patience to rest in You until You reveal Your Will to me."

Fill with Thy Spirit,

Give me the strength.

Move me with Your hand,

Guide and protect.

Here are my hands,

Set them to work.

Here are my feet.

Send me O God.

Take my desires

Change all my plans.

Convert my will,

Make it like Your’s.
