Maple Syrup - An Acrostic

Merely the sap of a growing tree,
Appetising, ahoying, alluring me.
Perhaps you'll see how much I crave,
Listen till I finish my little rave.
Enticing, entrancing, clear and free,
Syrupy, slivery sugary be.
Yenning and yearning my tongue to sweeten,
Running and rippling, waiting to be eaten.
Unmatched, underrated and underused,
Perfect remedy to quence my thirst.

I love maple syrup. The silvery, slivery liquid slithers and slathers over my tongue with sugary sweetness. If it were accepted, I would drink it right out of the bottle it comes in. Mm. Mm. Mm.
YUM!
