From green grass to concrete;

From blue sky to smog;

From trees to skyscrapers;

From rivers to drains;

From dust to pavement;

From bird songs to traffic's drone;

From home-shacks to house-mansions;

From space to confinement;

From safety to constant insecurity;

From freedom to captivity;

From peace to distress;

From life unto death;

From the real to the fake. 

From country to city,

How will I survive?

No fresh air to breath,

I'm sure I'll expire.

Please take me home! 

From city to country;

From the fake to the real;

From death back to life;

From stress back to peace;

From prison into freedom;

From danger to safety;

From confinement to free;

From houses to homes;

From traffic to bird-songs;

From pavement to mud;

From septics to creeks;

From towers to trees;
