"I want to go to Myer." Micah announced as he sat opposite to me.
"Do you?" I asked, looking up from my dairying. "Why do you want to go to Myer?"
"Because the one I went to has two stories. I like the second story."
"Did you?" And why did you like the second story, Mister?" I asked, taking interest and preparing to record the conversation.
"Guess what was there."
"Clothes?"
"Nope."
"Toys?"
Micah grinned and giggled and slid across the table to give me a big hug.
And to Myer we went. Yes, we ventured to the huge shopping complex of Chermside. We spent about three hours wandering through it's nooks and crannies and multitudes of shops, searching high and low. The two main objectives of our search were a black skirt and a blue tie. Now, with both articles of clothing being relatively common, one would imagine that our search would be a quick and easy one. Not so. Throw fussy buyers and absurd fashion into the mix and life suddenly becomes very difficult.
So we searched. Yes, Myer got it's comb-through but high prices (and that ridiculous fashion thing) kept getting in our road, so after a time, we left for more familiar shops.
Target. Yes, Target. Target was the shop that God had set aside for us today. And so we found both the tie and the skirt in the same shop, both at reasonable prices. God is so good!
A few more quick stops on the way home and we were done! What an amazing feeling!
And so we went 'home' to spend what was left of the day relaxing and preparing for what is ahead.
"And the evening and the morning were the third day."
