Signs of Winter

Even though the calendar says that it is still Autumn, Mother Nature has touched Rollands Plains with a foretaste of winter.

Signs of Winter

• Clear, crisp nights with burning, blazing stars.
• Freezing mornings when one's breath is visible inside.
• Perfect, too nice days where the sun's rays penetrate to one's bones and warm you very being, and clouds are few and far between, sailing across the blue abyss like ships across the sea.
• Moments when you pour yourself a hot drink and then leave it between your feet to try and melt the icicles residing there.
• Days with a gentle cool breeze beckoning you outside.
• Days when it hurts to stay inside.

I like winter.
