Elise came down with the bug again last night. Poor little thing. Consequently, our departure was substantially delayed. After breaky, Dave and I took Amy and Micah down to the crab beach and we all explored the world of the mud-flats together. Amy and Micah especially liked the jelly-like egg cases and i collected little hermit crabs. Dave's favourite bit was probably the adorable little lizard that we spotted on the way down.We also played on the playground for a while, pretending that we were spiders and flies and getting caught in the 'web'.
Micah's quote of the morning was while we were walking down to the beach. He had a stick and was wielding it around saying: "This is my revolver."
"Well you'd better throw it away because we don't want to play with guns." Dave said.
"Oh," Said Mikey with surprise and smoothness, "It turned into a stick!"
When we got back, we began to pack the car and at 1:30pm we finally got away. It was a long trip even though it wasn't really a long distance. It was so nice to arrive and find such an awesome group of familiar faces to welcome us. There's nothing like arriving at a friend's place.
The men quickly started to set up the tent and then we had a late opening Sabbath worship. Then Mum and Dad went out to organise the tent.
It's so good to be back at the Curnuck's place. It's so much fun.
"And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."
