28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
29 The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
[Froward = contrary]
All these priceless promises about the righteous seem to have been slipped into this chapter just for me this week. "The hope of the righteous shall be gladness...the way of the LORD is strength...the righteous shall never be removed...the blessing of the LORD, it make the rich...the righteous is an everlasting foundation...the LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish...blessings are upon the head of the just....the memory of the just is blessed...he that walketh uprightly walketh surely..." (Prod 10:28,29,30,22,25,3,6,9)
Having just weeks ago rededicated myself to walk in His service, my heart is thrilled by these tiny morels of huge blessing. God is faithful! In-between the beauty of knowing that I'm in His will, come the moments of doubt and wondering if I really am on the right track. And then come the promises.
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart...In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." (Prod 3:5,6)
Yes Father, I give myself to you with all my heart. Please, direct my paths and heap your blessings upon me that I may bless others and glorify your name.
Though no-one join me - still I will follow.
