"The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth: by understanding hath He established the heavens…When thou liest down thou shalt not be afraid...For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken." (Verses taken from Proverbs 3:19-26)
“He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom and hath stretched the heavens by His understanding.” Jeremiah 51:15
I did not know that Proverbs was so packed full with promises! Safety, these verses are saying, is found in the Narrow Path. When we walk in the way, God fills us with an overwhelming sense of peace and security and sends His angels to guide and protect us. As long as we keep the LORD as our confidence, we need not fear anything. I love these verses about having confidence in God, they fill me with joy and...confidence!
Safety is in the way of wisdom.
